Creative in Residence: James Roberson


in-tangible institute welcomes James Roberson as its inaugural ‘Creative In Residence’ from 1 June – 15 July, 2024, with thanks to the POZEN Family Centre for Human Rights, University of Chicago.

POLLINATION Edition 4 kicks off in March 2024 with emerging curators Diana Nway Htwe (Yangon) and Mark Teh (Kuala Lumpur) and curatorial advisors Penwadee Nophaket Manont, Rahel Joseph and Sumit Mandal.

Edition 4 is initiated and managed by in-tangible institute, co-developed and co-sponsored with and by ILHAM Gallery, the Sidharta Aboejono Martoredjo (SAM) Fund for Arts and Ecology, and Foundation for Arts Initiatives, New York.

Artist and curator, Ariana Chaivaranon begins as part of the curatorial team with in-tangible institute! She brings a dynamic set of skills and perspectives to her passion for art in Thailand and beyond, having studied and worked in both academic and institutional contexts in the USA and China.

Under the mentorship of Zoe Butt, in-tangible institute offers an emerging Thai curator the opportunity to learn the necessary skills and tasks of building and delivering programs with a private collection, to be showcased at the MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum, Chiang Mai.
