Talking and Listening

About

Talking and Listening is a series of intimate community discussions, bringing together invited artists, writers, and curators in Chiang Mai on a regular basis. Each gathering focuses on particular challenges with the ongoing work of one of the participants (an artwork, a piece of writing, an exhibition or project) or topics of interest to Thailand’s arts ecology. Attendees offer feedback, ideas, and inspiration to troubleshoot this work-in-progress or collectively explore thorny contemporary issues. These gatherings aim to nurture creative practice, expand community networks, and provide a space for learning in order to open opportunities for support and collaboration between members of Chiang Mai’s artistic community.
